Why does saving the environment have to be so expensive?

I don’t get it…I was checking out some ‘all natural’/'eco-friendly’ products. Some are as much as twice the price!! I mean, they are all natural for gods sake! Why would manufacturing chemicals be cheaper to purchase then all natural ingredients.
