hi =]
im a junior in high school and am beginning to look at colleges. although i know i my parents want me to go to a “real school” because i get good grades and do a lot of extra curricular stuff, ive always kind of wanted to go to a beauty school. im really good with makeup and hair and love making people feel beautiful. i approached the idea of going to school and then opening a salon that uses mainly eco-friendly makeup and products (seeing as there is a growing green movement and i am conscious of the environment myself), and my dad said that that was unrealistic because the people going to salons wouldn’t care about that. what do you think? should i go to school for a “real career” or follow through with my idea of a salon? also, do you have any recommendations for good beauty schools? or can you minor in it at a “regular” college?

i appreciate your honest opinions =]

Would it look ok if i carried one of these bags as a purse…they’d double as a bag to put stuff in and helps me be eco-friendly…like when shopping with friends at the mall :)

I want to plant flowers but the rabbits in my neighborhood love to eat them (I have tulip stems in the planter right now). What can I use that would dissuade rabbits and other hungry creatures, without being harmful to the animals (including my dog)?

I have been looking for a product that is an alternative to liquid bleach. I have a front loading, high-efficiency washer and I can’t use a powdered bleach alternative in my washing cycle. I would like to know if there is a liquid bleach alternative on the market that is eco-friendly and cruelty free? I usually dry my white sheets in the sun, but now that the frost is here, I can’t do that anymore. I’d love to keep my whites white in the cold months as well.
