What are some things you can do in the office to reduce CO2 emissions? Some examples include recycling paper by using the other side, turning off your computer when you leave the office, and setting the thermostat temperature to 28 degrees in the summer and 20 degrees in the winter time. But is there anything else that you could do that you have forgotten?

In today’s offices, computers in particular consume a lot of electricity. In fact, one computer consumes 600kWh of electricity per year, and this results in approximately 220kg of CO2 emissions.

Recognizing this problem, TCB Technologies developed SURVEYOR, a software package that monitors, manages and reduces the electricity consumed by computers.

SURVEYOR allows an administrator to easily and quickly set up the power conditions for each computer by classifying the computers into groups.

The standard report shows information such as electricity consumption, the reduction in electricity consumption, a list of computers under management, an electricity consumption forecast, the electric utility bill, and CO2 conditions.

SURVEYOR can also generate customized reports that are tailored to each customer’s needs.
