We completely understand your worry and frustration. You are right, most of the popular VEGAN BAGS and SHOES are in fact made in China or other countries with very poor records in Labor Laws and Human Rights.
WE DON’T USE SLAVE LABOR.
As a matter of fact, we have our own manufacturing facilities in New York City and all the new Independent Designers we promote ought to follow our criteria. We also DON’T USE PVCs in the products we manufacture or sell in our stores.
I wonder if this is another promotional sales gimmick. It’s so sad to see that everything labeled “VEGAN” is made by slave labor in China or other countries. I cannot support such human abuses. I don’t know what to do, nothing is made in this country anymore.
