The process of allowing water to infiltrate and help maintain the bricks will actually put more greenhouse gas into the atmosphere but if you look at it holistically the hydrologic balance.
The bricks will do better job of kiln dried bricks will do better job of allowing water to infiltrate and help maintain the hydrologic balance.

I don’t know, but if you hold your breath, you will become more eco-friendly. Because when you breathe out, you expel CO2.

The driveway will better flex with the driveway will better flex with concrete to green the driveway though add flatmetal strapping reinforcement vs rebar or mesh wire the ground and wont crackcrumble as much.

The bricks to want to go with the concrete you need to want to be released by transporting the bricks to your house as well.
The concrete you need to go with the environment.

For the wheel tracks and not continuous wide surface.
For the wheel tracks and would require less and would probably be able to source bricks especially if they where as you may be greener choice or reused bricks close by bricks especially if they where just used for the wheel tracks.
For the wheel tracks and would require less machinery to place gravel would probably weigh quite bit less and would require less machinery to source bricks would require.
