My dad is a HUGE environmentalist. We had florescent light bulbs, hybrid cars, and green cleaning products. What is a good gift to get him? I was thinking about buying one of those plant a tree things…but i don’t know where you get them. Any help or advice? Thanks!

We are a new baby/parent related company and our first product is a Diaper Bag.
We are looking for eco-friendly fabrics and we would like it to have the following qualities:
1. durable and have a stiffness to it so it can hold the shape of the bag.
2. light weight
3. easy to clean
4. available in a wide range of colors.
5.be as environmentally friendly as possible (no pvc and stuff)
currently we are using the standard 600D nylon/polyester pu coated fabrics.
Although they “do the job” we really do not like them. They are cheep and synthetic looking. They are not pleasant to touch and the variety of colors, although large is very basic - red is red, blue is blue etc. they have no depth to them.
Can anyone recommend on a specific company ? fabric ? where to search depending on the qualities that we need ?Thank you

Are there eco-friendly plastics that can compete with the prices of PVC plastic?
We have a product (a lightweight, durable, floating raft) that uses PVC and we want to move in a more “green” direction. Cost is most important, however. We need a plastic that will test just as well as the PVC but is cheaper.
Obviously it has to be more eco-friendly. Any ideas?
Please confront the price issue. Also, the plastic needs to last a very very long time.

My job has been using foam cups for a while now and we would realy like to switch to a environmentally safe material. I am not sure where to start with this because the catalog that we get our products from does not list if the materials used are eco friendly or biodegrable or not. I did find a cup in here that is listed as double polycoated paper. Does anyone know if this is a safe alternative. Thanks in advance.
Please don’t be rude. We don’t have the option of using a dishwasher, so I would really like to find a disposable alternative to styrofoam cups.

Wouldn’t it make sense that if he really cared about poverty that he would use his ability to raise money to actively put it back into the community instead of hoarding it all for himself?
Hillary Clinton votes to send soldiers into a war and then votes to deny them the food, training, supplies, etc. they need to be successful.
Moveon.org calls for boycotts of all companies which advertise or are otherwise associated with conservative media in an effort to punish and silence those who have different political beliefs. Is this freedom of speech?

Many corporations act like they are eco-friendly and going GREEN but they actually make policies with underdeveloped countries to work in that country. Their policies may include to cut down more trees to increase more export. Countries agree because they benefit from having large corporations in their country.These corporations actually create environmental problems by creating deforestation or forest degradation to make their products. Does anyone know any corporations that do this other than the IMF or World Bank?

I need a manufacturer or the equipment used by a manufacturer to take alpaca fiber and turn it into home insulation batts/blow in. They are curently using sheeps fiber in NZ and England and as home insulation, I want to utilize this wonderful, healthy, extremely eco friendly product as a niche business but I need to know how to process it into the batting
I also need to know what I need to do to make this insulation meet California housing codes.
