is this statement correct?

First, conserving electricity saves not only money, but the environment too. Luckily, there are other ways than becoming Amish to save energy. Simple things such as turning off lights when you’re not using them, and not leaving ineffective electronics plugged in all day. Other ways to go green are too use as many solar powered items as possible. Technology is improving everyday by introducing new eco-friendly product. Even though energy is, for the most part, man- made, the ways to make that energy affects the atmosphere. Many energy plants burn coal or other fossil fuels to produce energy, therefore when you waste energy they are burning fossil fuels unnecessarily, and this puts things like CO2 into the air, which contributes to global warming. The more and more people use energy, a greater demand for them is in effect.

For school, I was thinking about putting on an “eco-friendly” fashion show, modeling clothes made of organic/reycled materials. ANYONE KNOW ANY SITES/STORES that would carry such products? Do you think stores would donate clothes? Should I suggest it as being a product endorsement??? thanks for the help, i’m lost!!

Myself I stopped wear nylon stockings, stopped using disposalible razor to shave my legs, (I’ve been waxing since 1988) don’t use any beauty products with petrolatum in them, also some other weird things I just never through about for a long time. Only asked because i wash my zipploc baggies out depending on what was in them to reuse. My neighbor thought it was weird. Why not? What if it only held crackers for the afternoon while in the park with my girls. It seem like such a waste to toss it out after one use. I do this because my Mother did the samething. Also go around to my neighbors and get item that can be recycled. There is recycling in my neighborhood, but not every one does it. Yet why should I let plastic/glass bottles just go to the land fill when it can be recycled. So what are somethings that makes you get the raised eyebrow look?
Thanks for the answers, but what do you do that people think is off the wall. And i’m not peeing in the shower..only if i had athlete foot.

I am all about saveing the enviroment. I recently discovered Green Works cleaning products, and I love them. I need help with other things. Im looking for basically a dishwashing detergent, dishwasing liquid, Laundry detergent, and well any other kind of products people want to put out there. Heres the catch they must not be tested on animals, and Id like them to be eco-friendly. Thanks for any help you can put out there.
I also have a cat, so maybe some products for her too please.

I’m about to start up a small pet-waste disposal business, and i want to do everything with a twist-make it as eco-friendly as possible.

I know I can make a cheap compost outlined on this site:
http://www.plantea.com/dog-waste-compost.htm

but it says to sprinkle Septic Starter and water to help decompose wastes back into the soil.

Is Septic Starter eco-friendly?

What else could I do besides double-bagging the doodoo and tossing it in a trashcan?

I don’t think every customer would like me digging a hole in their yard for a compost, although that would be ideal! lol.

I also will be providing yard treatment for fleas and ticks, as well as replacing stains, and treating indoor/outdoor furniture, carpeting, hardwood flooring, decks, etc. with all eco-friendly product. Also to include dog-walk/jogging and providing all-natural dog baths with eco-friendly shampoos and conditioners.

Thanks.

Do you and your family buy things with natural ingredients and that are organic? Do you buy free range chickens? Do you buy USDA approved meat? Do you buy cosmetics that were NOT tested on animals? Do you buy eco-friendly products?

Just wondering if people are trying to save the environment and animals!
I also use Swheat Scoop, a litter made from shredded wheat!! It is super bio-degradable and landfill-friendly. If anyone has cats, please use it as your litter!

Do you use eBay? Is eBay the “go to” place to buy stuff anymore? What is your favorite online site to buy what you like?

I want as many people to answer this as possible! Please tell me what you look for in a business an what type of products would interest you in buying from an online store. Any Input is valuable. Thanks!!!
